2007 Outlook: Alex
Smith made some great improvements last year but still
needs to keep improving. Vernon
Davis should be a great weapon for him and the addition
of Darrell Jackson will give him a veteran receiver to throw
to.
Frank
Gore emerged last year as one of the top running backs
in football and should have another productive year.
The defense is very young but talented. Nate
Clements is one of the top cornerbacks in the league
and rookie Patrick
Willis should help the linebacking corps.
Projection: 8-8 Improved but the NFC West will be
tough this year.
