Marshawn Lynch - Buffalo Bills
 The
Buffalo Bills have been looking for an added ingredient
to their offensive potency. Marshawn Lynch, the 12th overall
pick of the 2007 NFL Draft, may be the answer. Lynch will
replace Willis McGahee as the Bills go-to running back.
Both the Bills and Marshawn Lynch are hoping that his success
in high school and college will translate into NFL success.
Marshawn Lynch entered the 2004 college football recruiting
class as one of the top-ranked running backs in the nation.
He settled on a Pac-10 school close to his hometown of Oakland,
the University of California Berkeley. Lynch was voted as
the 2006 Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year. He carried
the ball 223 times for a total of 1,356 yards and 11 rushing
touchdowns. Lynch also has good hands, as he caught 34 passes
for 328 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns. In Marshawn Lynch's
final college game with California, he rushed for 111 yards
and scored two touchdowns against Texas A & M in the
Holiday Bowl.
The Bills acquisition of Marshawn Lynch could prove detrimental
to the success of quarterback JP Losman and receivers Lee
Evans and Peerless Price. Linebackers and defensive linemen
will have a deadly weapon in Lynch to worry about, leaving
secondaries more vulnerable. Look for Lynch to be successful
and improve the offense of the Bills.
