Bruce is still loose! In fact, Isaac Bruce is so talented
with his fast first step that he will probably keep busting
loose until he decides to retire. Bruce is a fixture for
the St. Louis Rams as he has played 13 seasons at wide receiver
with the franchise.
Isaac Bruce has been running routes with precision since
the Rams franchise's last season in Los Angeles. In 1995,
Isaac Bruce had what was perhaps his best season, catching
119 passes for 1,781 yards and 13 touchdowns. Bruce will
be immortalized in Super Bowl nostalgia for his 77-yard
touchdown in Super Bowl XXXIV that put the Rams ahead of
the Tennessee Titans for good.
Isaac Bruce has been very consistent as an NFL receiver.
In 2006, Bruce recorded his 10th career 1,000-yard season
in receiving, an impressive accomplishment. Bruce is part
of a team that is traditionally pass-happy, so he should
expect to get the ball thrown his direction plenty of times
in 2007. After all, Torry Holt's 93 receptions and Steven
Jackson's 90 receptions in 2006 did not stop Bruce from
having another 1,000-yard season. With the Rams, there is
always plenty to go around.
