2008 Outlook: Carolina is one of those teams with
potential to be good but they seem to fall a step or two
short.
Jake
Delhomme needs to return stong from his injury for the
Panthers to compete this year. With Steve
Smith as a target (when he isn't punching people) and
newcomer DJ Hacket Delhomme will have some weapons to throw
to.
Jonathan Stewart should do fine in the backfield sharing
time with DeAngelo
Williams and the O-line should be able to open some
holes.
The once mighty defensive line is starting to fall apart.
Julius Peppers regressed last year and needs to show
he can get back to his Pro Bowl form
Projection: 9-7 Possible wild card spot here and
they might even compete with New Orleans for the division.
