Brady Quinn - Cleveland Browns

Quinn seems to have everything made. Critics-except for
Joe Theismann-think the world of him and his future, his
first NFL team was willing to put up with his prototypical
hotshot-rookie-holdout and pay him an enormous chunk of
money for a 22nd pick, and he gets to play for the NFL team
that he wanted to play for, the Cleveland Browns. All of
this has happened without him taking a single regular season
snap in the NFL.
But if Brady Quinn's college numbers are any indicator
of how he might perform in the pros, the hype becomes believable.
Brady Quinn is credited as being the quarterback that helped
resurrect the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from a long stint
in mediocrity. Quinn's numbers for his senior year at Notre
Dame were impressive too, as he completed 61.9 percent of
his passes for 3,426 yards and 37 touchdowns. Quinn only
threw for 7 picks in both his junior and senior years.
The stellar play of Brady Quinn in 2006 won him the Maxwell
award, an award given to the most outstanding player in
college football. Quinn also finished third in the Heisman
trophy voting.
Brady Quinn will probably see play time in 2007. It will
be a building year for the rookie and his team, but the
Cleveland Browns have some good pieces in place make exceptional
improvement. Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow will be
excellent targets for the strong-armed rookie, and the addition
of Jamal Lewis to the backfield can only help Quinn and
the Browns' chances of success.
