Anthony Gonzalez - Indianapolis Colts

Gonzalez is a perfect fit at wide receiver for the Indianapolis
Colts. He is undersized, and he will play behind two spectacular
stars at his position. Gonzalez still couldn't be any happier.
He will be playing with the defending Super Bowl champs
under a quarterback who is great at distributing the ball
to number one, two, and three receivers.
The Indianapolis Colts drafted the six-foot, 195-pound
Anthony Gonzalez with the 32nd overall pick in the 2007
NFL Draft. Gonzalez played his college ball at Ohio State
University behind a Heisman trophy winning quarterback and
a star receiver. Therefore, Gonzalez is not unfamiliar with
being more of a behind-the-scenes wide receiver. The man
that Gonzalez will be replacing at the number three position
for the Colts is Brandon Stokeley. Stokeley is one of the
few number three wide receivers who have gained over 1,000
yards in receiving thanks to the precision passing of Peyton
Manning.
Anthony Gonzalez is known as an "overshadowed overachiever."
Gonzalez works and studies hard. He should click well with
Manning because Gonzalez loves to study film in order to
improve his game and exploit the weaknesses of opponents.
Gonzalez may not turn heads right away, but his work ethic
and experience as a behind-the-scenes wide receiver will
serve him well during his rookie year.
